This collaborative experience is facilitated by Phanie from Apothecary For The People, a small scale enterprise cultivating and crafting Plant Medicine.
In each Plant Medicine workshop you will learn about how to use plant medicine and different medicinal herbs.

In this workshop you will learn about the ancient practice of steaming, the body system that is most impacted by this practice, and craft a ceramic pot that will support your steaming needs. This is one of our most versatile workshops as you can craft a steam blend for facial steaming, respiratory support and reproductive organ wellbeing.


P o t t e r y
Meditate in our garden about a design that aligns with your intention. We will take inspiration from the garden, our plant medicine and our favorite places in nature to sketch your vision to life. Then, we will jump into the creation process of the pottery project of the day.

W h a t Y o u R e c e i v e
All materials provided. You will leave with your herbal project of the day of and your pottery piece will be ready for pick - up in 2 - 3 weeks once they are fired.

S t e a m B l e n d s & S t e a m i n g V e s s e l s
This steam blend workshop will focus on the medicine of steaming herbs and their benefits and properties for our respiratory and reproductive systems. We will learn about the energetics and plant medicine of herbs & flowers and how to make a blend with a specific intention in mind. Then, we will step into learning about how to create a vessel to use you steaming herbs from.

Class Outline :
- Learn about a variety of steaming herbs and proper blending
- Who they are
- How they function (respiratory and reproductive)
- Application
- What's their history
- Volume/ form
- Colors/ shape combinations
- Basic Hand Building techniques like pinch pots, slip and scoring and design with underglaze and sgraffito.

Cancelation Policy

Artillery Ceramics is a small community studio and we appreciate your patronage. All sales are final, we are unable to issue refunds.

Rescheduling Policy:

If you are unable to attend a booked class, please let us know as soon as you can. If we have a class that is not fully booked, we can transfer you into an available session for a $15 fee per seat. Classes are subject to change/be rescheduled if the minimum student quota of 4 students isn't met.

Refunds:

Due to our small class size, refunds are issued only if we are able to fill the seat. We cannot offer refunds if we are not able to fill the seat.

Processing Fees:

There will be a $15 fee for any changes made to your booking.

​

Cancellation Policy:

If you must cancel your session, we respectfully ask that you provide at least 24 hour notice. We understand that things come up, so please communicate any changes as soon as possible so we can coordinate with our team. We are unable to process refunds if you cannot attend your scheduled booking.

Make-Up Glaze Session:

If you miss a glaze session, you may book a glaze session through our website!

Scholarships:

Scholarships are available based on funding.
