About the event

Listening and following one’s intuition is an important aspect of living in one’s authenticity and trusting your own process in life. However, in this day and age of instant gratification and viewing “productivity” as more important than creativity, it can be hard to fully allow oneself to release expectations and “trust the process.” Luckily, we as community members of Artillery have access to clay, which can connect us back to our intuition through slowness and playfulness.

In this workshop, attendees will go through a therapeutic arts process that will include a guided meditation, intuitively creating with the clay material, individual processing of what arose out of the clay creation, and processing in the larger group about the experience. We will end the workshop with creating an altar with our clay creations and other special items/materials.

(please bring any meaningful objects from home that you would like to add to the altar if you would like)
