Open Studio Tumbler Glazing + Coffee Bueno Café Pop-Up!
Because Every Cup Counts.
To-Go Cups & Tumblers Because Every Cup Counts.
Our studio came alive again with our To-Go Cups & Tumblers: Ceramics for Sustainability open studio Glaze dya, led by Kaory Santillán Bueno (she/they) in collaboration with Coffee Bueno.
Together, we explored how clay can help us move away from single-use plastics by creating reusable mugs and tumblers. Participants of all ages and skill levels handbuilt their pieces, adding unique textures, sgraffito, and stencils before coming back to glaze them!

🌿 The Impact
Each handmade vessel means fewer disposable cups in circulation. Every time one of these tumblers is used, it’s a small but powerful step toward sustainability — and a reminder that creativity can fuel climate-conscious choices.
☕ The Experience
With Coffee Bueno serving up intentional drinks and Kaory guiding us through our tumbler glazing the studio felt both grounding and inspiring. People were laughing, learning, and glazing side by side — proof that community, art, and sustainability go hand in hand.
✨ Gratitude
A huge thank-you to Kaory for leading with care and creativity, to Coffee Bueno for being such an aligned collaborator, and to everyone who built and glazed with us. Your cups carry more than coffee — they carry intention.
Stay tuned for our next collaboration with Coffee Bueno — because every refill, every vessel, and every gathering makes a difference.
