For Women's History Month at Artillery AG Ceramics Studio, we’re continuing to hold space for creative learning, ritual, and hands-on experiences through a series of upcoming workshops led by Women Of Color Artists in our community.
Sculpting With the Heart: Cacao + Gratitude Offerings
Our Cacao Circles with Apothecary For The People x Artillery AG collaboration returns for 2026 with Sculpting With the Heart, a ritual clay experience facilitated by artists Kelly Elizabeth from @mindfulmama.aki and Phanie from @apothecary4theppl
This workshop brings together the ancestral medicine of cacao with the minfulness practice of ceramics. Participants begin by grounding with cacao before hand-sculpting a personal clay graitude offering—an expression from the heart that can be gifted back to nature, placed in water, or kept on a personal altar for the season.
The experience invites participants to slow down, connect inward, and create from a place of intention.

Sip & Sculpt: Mug, Tumbler, or Tea Cup Workshop

Every First Sunday of the Month | 12:30–2:00 PM
One of our favorite cozy studio offerings. In this relaxed, beginner-friendly class, participants create their own ceramic mug, to-go tumbler, or tea cup while sipping tea or one of our rotating café specialty drinks like herbal tea, cacao or hot cocoa.
It’s a chance to slow down, enjoy good company, and transform your daily drink ritual into something handmade by you.

Planter Building & Garden Gathering
Every Last Sunday of the month | 2:00–4:30 PM
Hosted by Artist: Maile Jade, this hands-on class invites participants to build their own ceramic planter through an approachable handbuilding process centered around intentional making and connection to nature.
Once the pieces are fired, everyone is invited back for a community planting party in the garden, where we’ll bring each planter to life together with soil and plants. The planting party date is shared during the class—making the experience not just about making pottery, but nurturing something that continues to grow in community.
